Om Shanti!
I can see everyone's face like a full moon, right? I was very fortunate to meet Mama and invite Mama to the center which was new in New Delhi. We had just started a good center. Mama spent about five days with us and of course, we experienced a very close connection with Mama during these five days. It's like I said there is no one like Shiv Baba, no one like Brahma Baba. Also, I always say that there is no one like Mama because of her cheerfulness, her faith in Baba. When there is faith in Baba then you have self trust. So I have self trust and that self trust was very visible in Mama. I met her many times, one thing I noticed in her and also in Dadis that they are so consistent. They don't go up and down, their mood is always good and they are consistent. That power to be consistent is very important because anyone whether it is students or your companions, if they see you fluctuating they will lose faith. Somebody was sharing something and I asked, “Why does this one have to do that?” There is a saying that the face is the index of mind. What is in your mind shows on your face, even if you might try to hide it, it does appear in some way or other. Whether it is through your smile or not sharing a smile or not sharing drishti. One thing Dadi Janki always used to ask, “Why do your feelings come on your face, why does your face change?” Sometimes she will notice immediately and would let you know that your face has changed. Then she will tell you to have a face like her, in the sense of always having a face that is full, always blossomed, and always happy. So take this gift of confluence age to remain full and cheerful. Always looking forward, looking upwards and of course, inwards. Upwards then from upwards, I bring it inwards. I look at myself, look at Baba, look at myself and then look at everyone. Do not look at others. Upwards look at Baba first to take drishti.
Brahma Baba whenever he has someone he will spend a few minutes with Shiv Baba. So he took from ShivBaba first and then gave to others. This is a very good practice to keep us very light and cheerful. Others cannot be cheerful all the time, so I look at Baba. So the same for us, it was good to look and learn from Baba and Mama. I could never forget Brahma Baba's face while dealing with diverse oppositions, obstacles and difficulties. His face was always cheerful. One of the things Baba said,“Baba's cheerfulness is coming from what I am becoming tomorrow.” Sri Krishna's face is always cheerful. I am going to be that tomorrow. What are we becoming? Deity, divine being so our face has to show this. People should immediately say, "Oh, you really look like a goddess." Baba usually gives an example of Lakshmi Narayan. Baba mentioned that the face would make you feel so good, so the same should be for us. So the gift of Confluence Age is a cheerful face. Never a crying face, and be tolerant and have a serene nature. Mama as you all know had an illness that was painful and there was no treatment. A few days before she left her body I was there with other Dadis who used to stay all the time with Mama. She was so cheerful, she knew that she was leaving the body because there was no treatment. I couldn't believe it, “How can she just say drama and smile.” So Baba says to make your face constantly cheerful. Never let there be any signs or lines of distress on your face. A full moon looks so beautiful. In the same way, let your face be constantly cheerful. Baba said let your face shine so much that others can see their face, their form in your face. For this Baba says to make your nature simple, serene and tolerant. Don’t let little things bother or irritate you. Keep attention to be constantly cheerful, then when you walk around anywhere everyone will be very happy with the vibrations which come from your cheerfulness. I think we will do this practice for this month, Okay.
Om Shanti
