We always describe God's three divine tasks: establishment, sustenance, and destruction. So, when Baba comes, He also brings with Him these three forms: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shankar. Brahma represents purity and knowledge. Through purity and the study of knowledge, he performs the task of establishment. Vishnu reminds us of our aim and objective. What is my aim? Brahma teaches purity, and then that purity of thoughts, words, and actions is symbolized by the Sudarshan Chakra. Keep spinning this awareness: Who am I? Who was I? What do I have to become? Swa-darshan - reflect on the cycle of time and the part I have played. This mental purity helps remove all evil thoughts, negative sanskars, and body-consciousness. The conch (shankh) represents our words - spiritual awakening. When it is blown, it carries a profound spiritual sound. Our inner world should also be like the sound of the conch. Then there is the lotus, which symbolizes purity in action. So, Vishnu is shown with the Sudarshan Chakra, the conch, the lotus, and the mace, which is a symbol of victory and power. Vishnu represents what I have to become and what I have to do at the Confluence Age: to have purity of mind, words, and actions. What is the objective? You receive the double crown. Vishnu represents our aim and objective: the double crown of holiness and highness. Holiness means complete purity in thoughts, words, and actions. Highness comes because we do Godly service through our elevated actions. You receive the crown of jewels and the crown of a kingdom. That is why we call it holiness and highness. Shankar is the image of tapasya. Whether the obstacles are in your personal life or in the Yagya, they can be removed only through the power of tapasya, the power of silence. So, there are Brahma, Vishnu, and Shankar.
In Sakaar, the physical world, Baba has the corporeal form of Prajapita Brahma, and also Mama. They sustain us as well. Of course, Baba also created the Yagya. Why did Baba create the Yagya? So that we could use everything in the Yagya, and whatever we have would be used in a worthwhile way and multiplied. This is how Baba sustains us. There is a beautiful new song. Even lokik people say God the Palanhar (the Sustainer). Nature also has the quality of sustaining us. God sustains us through the five elements, the sun, the moon, and the stars. You may have as many heaters as you like, but the warmth given by the sun cannot be obtained from anywhere else. The clouds, the rain, everything is connected with sunlight. Without sufficient sunlight, there is no solar energy. The sun has the quality of sustaining life. Similarly, the soul has the body. Without the body, what can the soul do? The body cannot do anything without the soul, but the soul also cannot perform its role without the body. Therefore, we value the body—but not because of attachment. Yesterday one soul came to me. Sometimes people simply fall, and then they suffer fractures. She had fallen, and later developed a slight disability. She said, "Please tell Baba that I want to leave my body." I said, "Don't become discouraged.” Through this body we earn our spiritual income, and through it we do service. Even if you cannot serve through your body, you can serve through your mind. You can serve through your words. Even if you can do only one of these three, you will still create a fortune. So never give up. But we also have to be careful. Baba says Maya tries to make us fall. Sometimes karmic accounts arise, certain energies come, and people fall.
Once a sister fell. Dadi Janki was very upset with her. I said, "Dadi, she needs sympathy. Why are you scolding her?" Dadi said, "No, it was carelessness." She asked the sister, "How did you fall?" The sister replied, "I was coming down the stairs. Someone called me from behind. I turned to look back and missed a step." Dadi said, "Baba always says not to look back. You should be looking where you are going. Why were you looking back?" Dadi never accepted excuses. She said, "Somewhere you were careless." We kept telling Dadi, "She needs love because she fell." Anyway, people may fall, but don't become discouraged. You have to value your body. In the whole universe there is the quality of establishment, sustenance, and transformation. We also establish good sanskars and good relationships. Then, through our love and purity, we sustain those relationships. Can you imagine? Our relationship with Dadi lasted for sixty years. Few relationships last that long. She was so loving and giving among all of us because these are spiritual relationships, not worldly ones. Today Baba says in the Murli that we should not fight with anyone, should not argue with anyone, and should not become upset with anyone. Sometimes people become upset and then stop talking to one another or even looking at each other. In that atmosphere, service cannot happen. If we understand the whole drama, we understand that the drama is the interplay of the soul and nature, with God also included. Everything is contained within these three: soul, nature, and God.
Our relationship with God, our relationship with nature, and my own part—all are played through the body. My love is not for the body itself but for the part I have to play. The body is simply the costume through which I play my role. When we understand this, there really can be no ego. Recently Baba explained something very beautifully. Baba is Almighty— because He possesses all powers. I too have powers: the power of silence, the power of yoga, the power of non-violence. The Almighty Baba gives me His company when I use my own powers. If you are weak and keep asking Baba for powers every time, Baba said what about your powers? Many times Baba will be a detached observer to see whether you are using your powers or not, whether you are using knowledge or not. He will be just an observer. It is not that He is not with you. Rather, He wants you to become a master almighty. So, we should not always think, "Baba will help me." I often tell Baba, "It's okay. I don’t need help. I will manage." Then He stands by, and if I truly need help, He helps. Many people say, "Those who believe in God become dependent on God. You need God for everything." I say, "No, we are not becoming dependent. We are becoming equal to Him. He is Almighty, and we are becoming master almighty. that is our aim." This knowledge is so interesting, so enlightening, and so unlimited. We understand everything. We understand what is sato, rajo, and tamo.
Today we reflected on a very interesting point: Baba is the Purifier. Those who become pure by following Shrimat are different from those who simply remain celibate or unmarried. Many people like to remain single or maintain physical purity, but that alone does not qualify one for the Golden Age. The purity that Baba teaches makes you truly pure and helps you claim the pure kingdom. Many people say that purity is simply celibacy. They ask, "Why are so many saints and sages bachelors? Isn't that purity?" It is very interesting to churn on these points. So, Baba says: Be cooperative and become an embodiment of success. Whenever anyone needs any type of cooperation, then, as a child of the Bestower, give that soul cooperation. Remind yourself, "I am a child of the Bestower." Baba says that you can be cooperative with everyone only when you have spiritual love for everyone. If you do not have love, then you cannot truly be cooperative. That is why Baba says you must be cooperative in your thoughts, words, actions, and in all your relationships. Become an embodiment of success. Baba’s each word requires some more churning. Why Baba is saying something.
