Baba is calling us master donors, masters who constantly donate or bestow. There was a very short instance about a king. Every morning, from his treasure store, anyone who came to his door would receive something from him. Everyone used to get something. So one time, a beggar came a little late. After giving, the king went to the temple. Most palaces have big temples, whenever you go to a palace, for example in Jaipur, as soon as you enter, there is a big temple and then the palace begins. So this king went into the temple and started praying. The beggar saw that he is also begging, like he's also asking. So he said that if he is asking then I should find out from whom he is asking, so that I go directly there. Our aim also is to connect the souls with the bestower, not with me. They shouldn't see that they got it from you. They should say that through you, they should remember Baba. During Baba's time Baba used to say that is sin, because instead of me connecting souls with Baba, I am connecting with me. Even Brahma Baba said I don't give inheritance, you have to claim inheritance from ShivBaba. These days there are so many groups. When they call me I feel that my duty is to take everyone's intellect to Baba, because it's very important for every Baba's child yoga of intellect be with Baba. So they get all the powers. So naturally people take benefits like many motivational speakers. We have few in yagya too. So when you ask them they only talk of a person not of God.
We have to explain that I am not the bestower, He is the one, if I do not receive from Him I won't be able to give. We feel all the time that Baba is giving, Baba is helping, Baba is my companion. When I have to listen to something and I say well Baba is listening because Baba is the one who is going to give you power and help you to destroy your sins, there is only one Baba. Within a few days we will have Nirvair bhai’s two years on Saturday. He was a very kind and compassionate person. Every day he will only tell stories of what Baba told him. Baba said that when your body is not well your mind really can get connected with your body. You know, people talk about, “My pain here, my pain here.” They tell a long story of their body sickness. However, he will tell very beautiful stories about what Baba told him, reminding himself of bringing that power by thinking of what Baba told. Our duty also is to be a master bestower and connect them with the bestower. In the morning if you didn't have any experience with Baba, then the whole day you will feel empty. Even if for ten minutes you really were with Baba, then the whole day when you are giving there will be that flavor of Baba.
So I always feel that yes we are ‘bestowers’ but we shouldn't have this ego. Give in a way that their intellect connects with Baba. When we used to give the seven day course, in the beginning people always would say that this is Baba speaking. They start saying, “My Baba.” Then the seven day course finishes. That is really when you finish the course because you connected the soul with Baba. When Madhuban Mohini explained to me in 20 minutes about Paramdham, I really got connected with Baba, my home, my sweet home. So that is our aim as master bestower to reveal who is the Bestower, to reveal Baba so that they can also not only receive from Baba, but also become master bestower. Baba says to make others ‘aap saman’.
Baba says to quench the thirst of the thirsty souls. You children of the bestower are master bestowers. Baba says that with a second of your drishti and your few valuable words, you can quench the thirst of the thirsty souls. Baba says that any thirsty soul or hungry soul who comes to your door should not go away empty handed. Sakar Baba demonstrated this. Not a single soul went away discontented. Baba says that no matter what type of soul comes, he should go away with contentment; that requires knowing what to say, how to give, so that the soul feels content. The bestower is one Baba and we have to connect every soul to Baba. Baba used to tell us when you give a talk, as many times as possible keep saying Baba, Baba. Now we say that you all call God, but we call Baba because he is Father. So instead of saying Father, god, father we just say Baba, and they connect with that very easily. Even in the western world during lectures, we use the word Baba, then we explain what it means. So connecting with the bestower is really kind of sharing the blessings with that soul.
