Om Shanti!
RatanMohini Dadi was explaining about remembrance, and she said that Baba explains and defines for us, what it is to be incorporeal. A soul is incorporeal, on one side Baba says that in this world everything has a name and form, but when it comes to incorporeal, we think of the soul and supreme soul as a point of light, right!? Generally, we explain that incorporeal means no corporal form. So point is a form but it’s not corporeal. I remember when in the beginning when giving courses we always used to say incorporeal, but no corporeal form; incorporeal means there is nothing, right? So the way she was explaining was that how natural remembrance is when you practice, “I am incorporeal soul.” Then within a second there is connection with Baba. I am incorporeal, Baba is also incorporeal-Nirakar. These things are very important but very subtle, and for that the main practice is to have power of concentration. They say these days people have very little concentration because within a second their attention is diverted. If you have concentration, whatever is happening, you won’t even notice it. However, it is our habit, we notice everything, right? Then concentration will be only for a little time. Baba says, “I am the Ocean, you should merge in the Ocean of Love, that is, you are not aware of anything else, you are not aware of your surroundings or anything. What you feel is love, peace, not the physical environment.
We listen to Murli, we listen to knowledge and sit in Baba’s remembrance. Brahma Baba taught us to sit in front, our eyes never wander here and there. Baba used to just look at us and we would look at Baba. We can check if our thoughts and our time is wasted. When you are in the soul conscious experience, if something happens, it’s alright. What I heard before, if I continue to think and churn about that, the mind overthinks and there are a lot of wasted thoughts. One who is a subtle effort maker, one who is a fast effort maker will not allow that attention to be diverted. So you all should practice this, you understand? Whosoever, whatever is happening around me shouldn’t draw my attention. Everything becomes very subtle: your energy and intellect, because everyone is pure. There should be good concentration. Sometimes a little mistake causes our attention to be diverted, to go everywhere, where you don’t need it to go. So then the brain absorbs that vibration, then it becomes like our habit or whatever. So pay attention in a way that I am totally listening. I get a time to churn, but instead our attention is diverted. When people say, “I don’t have time for remembrance.” We don’t believe it, there is a lot of waste of time, your attention must be going somewhere else. Otherwise, within a minute, you can churn, you can practice. It's not every time you will get half an hour. I notice it is common in effort makers that our efforts are not subtle and consistent. Consistency is only possible if there is the nature of full attention on what I’m doing or when I am listening to Baba.
Baba knew we were good students so he would make us sit in the front row and Baba would notice that for 45 minutes, our eyes didn’t go anywhere. Our eyes were only on Baba. So while listening to Murli, there should be a hundred percent attention. If you bring that change, bring that quality in our efforts, our quality of remembrance would be great. You can sit for meditation for one hour and not have much of an experience, then some days we sit even for five minutes and you have such an intense, loving experience. We make our intellect subtle and divine. See if you can have this quality of total focus, total attention then you will be able to absorb everything. There are two words: one is called inculcation or dharna, the other is absorb, how much you absorb and whatever you absorb that becomes your power, that’s your experience.
Baba is saying today that with sweet drishti and sweet words the world can be changed that means internally whatever is going in the world can change. Baba says that for a few moments, if you give sweet drishti to a soul or just speak a few sweet words, you will make that soul full all the time and change the world of that soul. Your sweet words will become the means to bring about permanent transformation. Whatever Baba says, if I really absorb it, understand and then practice or do, then that attainment should be experienced. I got this power or experience, not just more points of knowledge. It should change, bring that change from gross physical to subtle, and that is what is meant by becoming an angel. Power and purity are there in the soul. Ekant is not that I go sit somewhere alone, I can sit anywhere, and I can be in solitude. That’s the practice which we all have to do, right?
Om Shanti
