Do you like these stories? Yeah. One time they created a drama on Allrounder Dadi. She was married, from a very good family. All these were from prominent families. So at midnight something happened and she had a bunch of keys because you know it was a big bungalow and so she left that bunch of keys on the bed. and at midnight she just left home. Such a story that she didn't think about who will feed me, what's my future? It must be Baba's pull definitely, they just left everything. They didn't even ask if they could have their share. They did so much for Yagya. You know her name was Allrounder Dadi. They used to buy big drums of charcoal to burn. They call it coal, right? Soft coal and hard coal. It is a big thing to save so much for the Yagya. So when she said I will do it, Baba told her you are allrounder, that means she will do anything for Yagya. not only she can do many things, that was a blessing for her also. What is vardan? So internally, you know I had been hearing a little bit here and there that people come here, they have a lot of love for Yagya then they surrender to Yagya, but don't want to do anything now.
Baba says you have to uplift yourself and help others also. I was trying to think of examples like Baba says that there are some, they want to uplift themselves but they don’t have enough courage and power. So there are some very simple examples but one was: one of the sisters was kind of in a bondage. She didn’t know how to liberate herself and the circumstances she had, I would have never accepted, but because there was no power, there was no courage. So she lived in that situation for a long time. So when I came to know and I was chatting with her then I told her, do it, we will help you and she kept courage and then with Baba’s help, she had a lot of power. She got free, not only free, she even decided to be full-time for Baba and is doing a lot of service. So there are many souls, they don’t have courage and power. It’s not that you are forcing anyone or pushing anyone, but they are in the bondage, they are ready, but they don’t have courage. So if we can help such souls then automatically you know they will be uplifted. Now is the time Baba is saying you have to uplift yourself and also uplift others. So each one of you can think of how you can help.
Today our topic is purity; we don’t have to think of only brahmacharya but brahmacharan. Each one of us call ourselves Brahmakumar, Brahmakumari. Anything wrong we do, defames the whole clan. Not only the clan, but even Baba. If you want to solve a situation you don’t need to get angry. You don’t have to criticize anyone. You don’t have to fight with anyone, no. With love, with dialogue, with understanding everything can be solved. Love and friendship is one of the most important qualities that Brahma Baba had. He had love for everyone. Not only for people but you heard also for birds and animals and even though we didn't have many cows- there was only one, but Baba would pass around and always kind of look at the cow. So Baba had love. They always say that God is love and it shows in whatever we have to do. If there is no love, there is no service. Baba always says that if you have to do something and you have to fight for it, don’t do it. It’s not service, it’s disservice. Now we have to be loving and friendly. There will always be two ways. There is settling of karmic accounts. Like sometimes two souls really go against each other or are jealous of each other. Whatever happens but it is with the power of yoga I have to settle it.
I remember that Baba in Avyakt Murli had said one time that children follow brahmacharya, but still they have anger. I remember for one year Dadi had said to keep the chart. There are different ways: one is verbal anger, the other is through dristhi people are angry. Purity is not only brahmacharya but it’s also freedom from anger, which is connected with some desires. Why do I have to get angry about that? Then there is greed. Sometimes we notice greed, attachment and then ego; the biggest one is actually ego, which is playing in the form of anger. Remember we are God’s children then godliness emerges in you. So purity is very important. With Knowledge you become Saraswati, then there is purity. When I think of Dadi Prakashmani, she was so loving and very light. All of you must have seen her. It’s because of her purity.
Dadi had this thought one time that I want all these gurus to come and have Brahma bhojan. She arranged a program for three days, and 85 of them came. Dadi was very humble. One side of greatness is humility. If you have ego, you are shallow. That greatness is visible. So one of the mahatmas went to meet Dadi and sat on the floor. Dadi said, “No, come sit here.” The next morning in the class he was sharing that a little part of Dadi's saree touched him, he felt a current, it was such purity. He got rakhi tied by Dadi in the classroom. What I’m saying is that purity has vibrations. Everything in purity has a lot of power. Purity is a big power and that’s why Baba says to have pure thought and pure wishes. Do not say a single word which is not good for others, nor actions that are not transparent, truthful, honest. At present, Baba says many of you have the desire to uplift themselves but they do not have the courage or the power. Those children who uplift others are instruments to uplift such weak souls. Many when you have a true heart, you can uplift others because purity or true heart has capacity. Power has many aspects: one is capacity. How many of you uplifted others? It’s a very interesting connection of knowledge, purity and upliftment. So I thought that the nine nights of Goddess is all about uplifting, so that there is courage and there is power.
If everyone sincerely does their duties and even extends themselves wherever they can. Then Yagya will have another asset. However, if I think now I am surrender, I belong to Baba, so I don't need to do anything. When Ratanmohini Dadi was incharge she approved of those who surrendered. She said that while they are sevadharis, they are very good, as soon as they are surrendered then maya comes. We should desire to keep serving, to see Yagya flourish, to have that bhavna. Sometimes it is more like my authority, my rights, and my position. But sevadharis come and they keep doing it, they don't demand anything. Sometimes it does happen that some have deep sincerity towards the Yagya. It's all right to keep coming and saying this is not happening, more should happen, this is not happening, but why don't you try? Make it happen, always think of transforming others, uplifting others, see what can I do? Why do I need to think of changing others? This should happen. This should happen. Focus on what I have to do. What can I do to the best of my capacity, sincerely? So you become an instrument to bring something, to do something which is needed, not only just keep thinking about it. You know the sacrifice of the Dadis. Today I will do something that I can comfortably do.
Baba says it is not a big thing to have pure feelings for those who have pure feelings for you, or uplift those who are already uplifted. So Baba says, "However, when someone again and again tries to make you fall, tries to make your mind shake, Baba says to remain unshakable and steady. Don't react: why are you doing this to me? Just remain unshakable and steady. Baba said to have pure feelings, keep pure feelings and pure thoughts for that soul. She's trying, This soul is trying. Not that you are shaken and then you say, "Oh, I still have good wishes for you." We do sometimes, right? We are shaken. No, I have good feelings for you. Baba says first be unshakable, steady, then also have good feelings. Baba said that you should not change because of the situation. Baba says that when someone defames you, transform that deformation in a second to upliftment. Somebody defames you but you use that for uplifting yourself. Baba said that this will be called a wonder. Maybe there is good in this and then uplift yourself. Okay.
