Brother Ramesh was instrumental in starting something called SPARC, and he had two things in mind. One was that we use it to experiment on the power of yoga. Many people started doing one hour of yoga, and then they would see what happened whether for themselves or for others and observe the results. Baba had just started speaking about sakash (spiritual vibrations). Many of them were doing it, even at the center where I was. When Gyan Amrit and World Renewal began, Baba used to ask us if we read them. Baba said, “If you don’t read your own publications, how will you know what they contain?” I  remember Dadi Janki, she would read Gyan Amrit (Hindi edition). In the same way, when Jagdish Bhai used to write books, his books were a little deep. So, Baba always encouraged us that whatever Brahmins write, especially the recognized authors; we should always read it. SPRAC office is in Gyan Sarovar. Here also, you can ask them if they have that book. Baba talked about self-progress and the progress in service: if there is more progress in service, than in self-progress; what will happen, there will never be contentment. Even if service is growing, you will still feel the same- not happy, not content. If there is self-progress and service progress together, then we are happier, right? What is self-progress and what is progress in service? If someone says something, Baba says the other one should accept it by saying, “Yes.” There can be a lot of discussion on this point. Every point really needs churning and also discussion. 

In this way, you can continue to increase unity and also determination. Just as a gathering of Dadis is strong in their unity, we always feel that if we all have yoga with Baba, then Baba gives one direction. If I have yoga and you all have yoga, we will receive similar thoughts coming from Baba. So, I should be able to tune in and know that. Baba says that just as the gathering of Dadis is strong in their unity and determination, in the same way, the gathering of you jewels also has to be strong. I find that it is a beautiful drama that we have a worldwide Avyakti Parivar in different places. I always say that even if there is unity and determination, it is quite a big family, and we can set a good example.The power of the gathering can do whatever it wants. Dadi Prakashmani was a very good leader. She would not control, but she managed. Some people try to control because they cannot manage. In the business world nowadays, they always say that this one is a manager, not a controller. The same applies whether it is self-management or any kind of management. Many people control because they fear they cannot manage. The power of the gathering can do whatever it wants. 

The memorial of this gathering is the five Pandavas. We also give the example of the five fingers. Sometimes we try to lift something with one finger, but it doesn't work. Then another finger comes forward, but when all five lift together, it works. Everything in the universe is really about unity, togetherness, that is why we call it a world family. At our retreat, we were asking people to share their experiences. This time everyone said, “My link with Baba is better. My yoga is better.” So, we asked, “Why? What did it? Was it the class?” They said, “It is the gathering.” The vibrations were such that they helped us have yoga with Baba. For example, if you are all singing and doing good yoga, then someone who is having difficulty will receive help. I was amazed, and I kept asking, “How has your yoga and your connection with Baba improved in the meeting?” Anyway, we used to have one hour of yoga every evening. Perhaps it is unity, or love, or being part of a large worldwide family, something helps them to grow spiritually. It was not just a meeting or learning; it was also an experience of having good yoga. That means the gathering creates an atmosphere. So, if there is unity and determination, it will bring souls closer to Baba. If there is always some conflict, then souls will be disturbed and will not be able to have good yoga.
