Om Shanti Everyone!

How is everyone? I am not hearing it. Everyone is okay! That's good. We play some of the short classes of our ancestor souls, dadis and senior brothers. How many of you have met Jagdish Bhai? Not many, very few. Jagdish Bhai has been the author of about 50 books. He was a professor before coming in gyan. I think we came into gyan at around the same time. He lived very far from the center. In the morning he would ride a bike to the center, it would take him 45 minutes to reach the morning class every day. He was a professor of philosophy, so he had read a lot of books and scriptures, so he was giving examples of comparisons and detail. You must have seen  this big thick book on the world's cycle with so many references to prove that the cycle is 5000 years long. He became the spokesperson for the organization and I had the fortune to work with him a lot. He was a very intelligent and a very humble person. One of the main aims was to connect new Baba’s children with the ancestors of the yagya, because how would you know what they did? That is why we play five to ten minutes of whatever we are able to get from the video archive. Video was not common at that time. When I was in India, I learnt that a lot of centers were using Hindi avyakti signals before starting the bhatti or after the class, they play and meditate on that, because it is very important. Why we call it avyakti signal? It is because many students would ask, “How do I become avyakt? What is an avyakt stage?” So listening to the Avyakti signal helps your mind and intellect to become more and more subtle, more and more avyakt.  The homework for today is the canopy of purity. The Father, the Bestower of blessing and us blessed souls, are both combined. Constantly have this awareness and there will automatically be the canopy of protection over you. Baba is saying that where the Almighty Authority Father is, there cannot be impurity even in your dreams. Let you and the Father remain in the couple form, not single. When you become single then the suhaag (that is companionship of a partner) goes away. There are different points Baba gave, every word really is simple, the Bestower of blessings and us, as blessed souls are together. It gives you so much power.

When Baba and the original group returned from Pakistan, they landed at port Bandan and took a train. Someone had promised them a place in Mount Abu, but when they reached Bombay, they said, “No, you find a place we don’t have anything for you.” A lot of things happened and they came to a place called Brij Kothi -that was the palace of one of the Kings, because a lot of Kings of Rajasthan would go up the mountain and stay there during the hot summer. After the summer they would again come down. Mount Abu had a lot of policies. These buildings were not being used much and that is where they bought Pandav Bhavan for ₹51,000. Now, one building in front of Pandav Bhawan was recently sold for fourteen billion rupees. Look how much is the difference in value of the houses and the land comparative to 1951. You must have heard the long history of a lot of renunciation. When we came to New York we did not have any good chairs. One time we saw on the road somebody was selling chairs for $30, so we bought a chair for Dadi Janki, because she was coming. Dadi gives an example, that there was no money for tolli, but children used to come, she was in Puna during the recess of school. So, she would cook mostly for herself and make two extra chapatis and cut it into four, made eight pieces and the cheapest vegetable was potatoes. So she would fry eight extra pieces of potato, roll it into that piece of roti and give it as tolli. Now London makes thousands of tollis. There is such a vast difference between the renunciation and sacrifice then and now. I think the foundation of renunciation was such, I feel we are enjoying the fruition of that. There are a lot of stories about yagya which inspire us. Even if we have everything, we are still renunciate. Never say okay, we want some more. Be humble and simple.

Om Shanti
