Everyone is good, lovely and detached in whatever way. If you are lovely that means you are detached, because otherwise you can't be lovely. 

Such beautiful thoughts were coming when I first heard about Brahma Baba. All the Dadis used to come to my grandparent’s home when they came to Delhi, they didn't know many people. So they start coming and then they start telling us about Brahma Baba. For me it was like the top of a mountain, an old man and you know that kind of imagination, but then I felt attracted and I said maybe I should write a letter to him.  Baba responded very nicely, and one of the things Baba said was that attending morning class is the way to immortality. I said okay, my home was about a 20 minute walk. In those days we didn’t have cars, so myself and one other sister, we walked in the morning. All the roads are empty at that time. We used to just run and would get there for 5:00 am morning class. Whatever I was taught about doing things. I think  Baba knew that one day I will have to be an instrument for the whole Yagya. Brahma Baba taught me so many things. Once our center was hosting Brahma Baba. It was a VIP's place and we expected about 2,000 people to come in the morning. There was this Baba's child who had a big house and big lawn- British time lawns. So we will put a tent up. 

Baba came, and spent about 21 days with us. One other sister and myself slept in the sitting room and living room. Baba came and as soon as Baba came I woke up; Baba signalled me to get up with his hand. So I got up, Baba held my finger, and took me around. He said, “Child it's raining, so if people come where will they sit?” So anyway we had planned, there was a concrete place and we said that it was not wet. Under  the tent even the grass was wet, so where would people sit? they didn't have chairs in those days to rent. I remember that, for everything Baba will hold my hand and take me around and show me how we will do this. If this comes, how will we handle it? Many  little things Brahma Baba will teach and then also in Yagya, he will show me so many things and I sometimes used to say why me? Why do I have to do this? What about others and the same about Dadi Prakashmani. I was just thinking how ‘Trikaldarshi’ they must have been. They know that this soul will be playing this part and will need to know whatever is needed for Yagya today. These are beautiful experiences and great lessons for all of us. How do we look at the soul in such a way that we are able to know the past, present and future of that soul, and the role that soul will be playing. We look at everyone as Baba's child, who is doing service but not being trikaldarshi. Baba was trikaldarshi but the Dadis were also trikaldarshi. 

Dadi Prakashmani and Dadi Janki used to tell Jyantibehn and myself years ago that you both should spend more time in Madhuban, and we used to say but we have to be there, we have to do service. When our names came up for the two of us to play these roles, I said but that's what Dadi Janki used to say, but we never did it. So it's like how Dadis knew our part and they trained us for that.

 We had this nature of observing Dadi Janki, her generosity, her love to fulfill whatever little is needed by everyone. We learn from every Dadi you know and especially of course the main Dadis, whoever was there. Those who had done some big program, they will go and brief Dadi Gulzar, because then Dadi will tell Baba and they will get some directions or something. So we watched, we observed everything. One thing I always remind myself which is very helpful for all of us is to follow the Baba, you cannot start following anyone else. You have to follow Brahma Father. Keep reminding yourself that I have to follow Brahma Baba because I have to become avyakt like Brahma Baba. Plus I am an adopted mouth born progeny child. Therefore, I have to fulfill that duty as a child, right? So how can I fulfill that without following my father? You cannot just follow your thinking. Your understanding of knowledge, your practices are so different from what Brahma Baba did or what Dadis did. So if you look at that and then allow our life to be, not only our spiritual stage, but taking care of Yagya, making family happy, doing whatever we need to do for the family. This is what Brahma Baba taught us in great detail. I remember these things, even if it's 60 plus years ago.These memories are so fresh like what Baba taught us. So what do we do? Even if there are circumstances where maybe you do not have that opportunity, but when there is pure thought then it gets created. Then you get to know, you get to say what Baba taught us, and how we should follow Brahma Baba. Maybe there will be time later, so I will share more about what we learn, what I learned from Brahma Baba and the Dadis.
