The words: conqueror, and the ‘one who is victorious' have two different meanings, right? A conqueror refers to someone who wins a battle or overcomes a challenge. Today’s homework is “Conqueror of Maya.”
This morning I was remembering how Baba used to come to Pandav Bhavan, and in the History Hall. On one side of the hall they would put a mattress where Dadi Gulzar would sit and Baba would come. We were fortunate to sit around that mattress, we were so close. We used to sit very close to Baba. Now Baba comes to the Diamond Hall. At that time not even 200 could sit in the History Hall, and now 20,000 sit face to face. Imagine worldwide how many must be listening to Baba on Zoom, on the internet, and through different ways. So Baba is saying to have the faith, have the awareness and power that you belong to the Father. Awareness that you belong to the Father is power. You have become the conqueror, because you have been the conqueror of Maya innumerable times. So what is the difficulty? Check what is the difficulty in becoming that now. Baba says, “Do you not have the clear awareness that you, elevated souls, have played the part of being victorious many times?” It is not just through the intellect. Yes, of course, I know I was a conqueror and I feel it from the heart. To be honest, “Do I really remember?” So keep saying it, “I have become a conqueror” and see how you feel.
If you do not have the awareness clearly, it shows that you have not made yourself clear in front of Baba. Write a paragraph: identify a situation, decide what it should be, check why it is not so? What do you have to do? Within one paragraph you look at your situation, you identify the obstacle and decide what is the method needed now? What should I do? So within one paragraph everything has come into that. So today, before we meet Baba, write a paragraph on any difficulty then experience Baba’s presence, it will help you. One is through intellect, we know, we understand, but the other is that you really experience it. You are so clear what Baba is saying and it becomes your experience. Om Shanti
