Om shanti!  I think most of you have met Dadi Janki! How many of you have not met Dadi Janki? Dadi had courage and determination. Of course, she had every quality but a lot of courage and determination. Dadis and sisters went in different directions in India to start service. So Dadi Janki was sent to Bombay and in those days, she  didn’t have money. So it’s not that she can travel by bus, she would walk from one place to another place. Her determination was to give knowledge to someone before eating breakfast. Sometimes she didn’t find anyone, so she would go and sit in the park in a way as if she was reading some scripture. So a few people will come  and she starts giving gyan, then she will go and eat breakfast. She said, if I don’t give knowledge how can I eat? With her determination a lot of people not only benefited, but they started cooperating and giving. It is an amazing story of Dadi. When Dadi Janki came to London we had no bed, we really had nothing. It was very difficult for people to become brahmins but we were determined and we knew that Dadi was with us. So she started sustaining us, she would sit in the afternoon and read the notes that would come from Madhuban. They were in Sindhi. I have travelled with Dadi since 1974 until she left her body. She would travel with me a lot. She had so much self-confidence. Many times we say, “Dadi it’s not possible, it can’t happen, how will it happen?” She would say, “It will happen.” One time, she wanted me to go to Malaysia. So I said okay. I called the embassy. They said it would take two days for the visa, but Dadi wanted me to go the same day, because one of the sisters was not well and we all were in the program and Dadi wanted me to attend. So I said, “Dadi, it will take two days.” She said, “No, you go, you will get it, you will get it in a day.” I said, “Okay I will go again.” When I went again, I told them that I needed to go. So they decided to give a special visa. So Dadi will never give up, it will happen. She used to say that we were young and we had a lot of strength. If Dadi is saying it, it will happen. So their determination, self-confidence and courage was amazing. Even when walking was difficult, she didn’t stop traveling, she didn’t stop anything. She kept going. So Dadis are examples of faith. Faithful intellect can never be defeated. To the extent that someone’s intellect has faith to that extent, Baba says they will be victorious over everything. I don’t have to measure the victory, but I have to measure my faith. Someone whose intellect has faith can never be defeated. If there is defeat, you can understand that faith is lacking. It’s a very good point, check your faith. Consider yourself to be all the jewels of victory who have faith. If any obstacle comes, then pass it by considering it to be a test paper. Do not look at the situation but pass it by considering it to be a test paper, because without passing the test paper you cannot get a promotion. If you want a promotion, you have to pass the test. So that enthusiasm that I have to pass with honor will help us to be victorious. Pass with honors, constantly be victorious, that should be our homework.
