Om Shanti!
Is everyone okay? The announcement was in English but the Hindi speakers should also know this. In New York, the clock is changing, so according to that, in every country some will be one hour behind, some will be one hour ahead. Some even have two hours difference. Right now, there is one hour difference. So, according to each one’s country time, New York time will remain the same. That means, the time for the Avyakti Parivar is 7:30 in the evening. Yoga starts at 6:00 and finishes by 8:00 or 8:30. So here in Bharat, it will be at 6:00 in the morning. Try to reach Murli by 5:00, because that is also a goal.
Listening always needs a lot of attention. I remember that Brahma Baba used to say that when yoga is on, you can play the band and make noise, it doesn’t matter, but when Murli is on, Baba doesn’t want any sound. So we used to think that actually we need quiet during meditation, but Baba is saying he needs quiet when it’s Murli time. When Baba used to say this, we used to think that when we are in yoga, nobody should make a sound around. Baba said that even if you play drums, I will still remember Baba, but when Murli is on, not a single person could enter the History Hall, not from the back, nor from the side. Once you are in, you are in. If you are not, you cannot enter. Nowadays anyone comes whenever, even five minutes late, and it does divert your attention a little bit. Listening to Murli requires total attention. Even a small moment here and there shouldn’t distract, but it does, right? So, that is something very important.
Just as BapDada is bodiless and enters a body, in the same way you children have to be bodiless and then come into your body. Quite simple, this is the Avyakt stage. Baba says, “Remain stable in the Avyakt stage and then go into your corporeal form.” What is Avyakt stage and Bodiless stage? Baba says that everyone has the experience of having a body and then taking another body. In the same way, Baba says, “Renounce the body consciousness of that body, whenever you want, become bodiless.” Not leave the body, but become bodiless. When you have to leave, you will. Become bodiless when you have time, take the support of that body to perform actions when you want. We give the example of a tortoise, it takes all the limbs within, and when it’s time to walk or eat, it uses all those parts of the body. Use the power to withdraw when you want to practice bodiless, then you come back and use your body. Baba says to experience that physical costume to be completely separate from you. This is a costume and I am separate. I am an actor, this is a costume. I the soul adopts the body, like a costume.
An actor has different costumes at different timings. Baba is saying that it is simple. You have to revise it in the mind again and again. Now I am playing this part, so I use the costume accordingly. As soon as you play your part, then you change costumes. You don’t take it off, but you change it. See, everything is in consciousness- smriti. Knowledge changes into awareness, into consciousness, and then it becomes real and practical. You have to be very sensible to understand what Baba says and also practice exactly the way Baba explains. So that’s why, while listening, have total attention.
Om Shanti
