Increase the Practice of the Bodiless Stage #14

Om shanti! Everyone is well, everyone is okay! Baba really inspires us and aspires  for higher goals for us. Brahma Baba also used to tell us children to keep the aim  to pass with honors. Honor is really a kind of an award, you are winning something. When accepting opportunities to serve, think, “Oh it is my honor that I have been given this chance to speak or to be on stage to conduct something.” Sometimes it does happen that we all have our level of education and we respect that, but we always find that there are passing marks. Some study to  pass with honors. For us it is at two levels: one is study and the other is practical life. In a study we say yes, everyday I listen to Murli, revise Murli and then I use that point of knowledge in every situation. We observe every scene of drama, without being emotionally affected. I remember one of Baba's children who will always say, “Wah drama, Wah Baba.” So, once I asked him, "Why don’t you first say ‘Wah Baba first’.” He said, “No, we have to appreciate drama first.” Whatever happens, “Wah Drama” and that is only possible if I want to pass with honors. Sometimes situations come, whether it is of attachment, anger or because of different sanskars of others. Those sanskars, they activate and then our sanskars emerge. As I already mentioned a few days ago, Dadi Gulzar said, “You cannot react unless you have that sanskar.” We always point out that this thing happened because of someone else. This happened because of this one. Therefore, we have to look into ourselves and transform, this is very important. I remember the royalty of Brahma Baba; before renunciation, even in those days people used to wear buttons of diamonds on their shirts. Many of them were equal to Baba in prosperity, but after renunciation when he was given the name Brahma, then Baba became very simple. Whether he was defamed or humiliated, his personality was such that he never felt humiliated. It is surprising how he remained stable, that is called passing with honors. He never complained, “See what they did to me? They shouldn’t have done that to me.” Nothing touched him. Even when he was taken to the local council or wherever, he was just gentle, sweet, smiling and he spoke only when necessary. He never defended himself. Most of us, anything happens, we  defend ourselves and try to prove. He didn’t, because he was what he was, that is dignity. That is honor. He knew he was the instrument of God and what he is becoming in the future! So Baba was real, in the sense of passing with honor. It is not just about passing, but be careful that we don’t fail. When you fail then it’s difficult to again pass with honor. Brahma Baba never failed in anything, neither did he lose courage or said that this path is very difficult, never. With his age, with 300 children to take care of. Just imagine, it was his courage that was leading and inspiring all of us. I notice the same with Dadi Janki, no matter what her age, there was so much courage and enthusiasm. So, passing with honors is self respect, self dignity and reminding yourself that we are God's children. We all need to have the aim to be number one and to pass with honors. I think we all will attempt to do that, and as Baba says that we pass with honors.        Om shanti
