When Baba comes He makes every child worthy and capable. Even if we had some education, some skills or some kind of talents, when we belong to Baba, the way Baba uses them, and then further advises us or gives directions, the soul really becomes very worthy. When Dadis came to Baba, they were young girls. Most of them had very little formal education. Now we were listening to Ishui Dadi’s experience. Baba wanted someone to write the Murli, she didn’t know how to do that. So she learned Hindi then she learned a way to write shorthand because Baba spoke very fast. After Murli finished, Baba said come and revise Murli, and she was able to read it and revise fully. She herself was amazed that she could do that. Baba was very pleased. A new sister came and learned to type in a week. Murli was typed and copies made then sent everywhere. She was so happy to do it.  Of course Baba was able to get what was necessary so that everyone should get Murli. You can see how talented, how capable everyone becomes. I think in that way, I am very fortunate, I also learn not to reject anyone. How do we help the souls for their internal upliftment but also in an external way. I remember that Dadis used to come a lot to New York, and of course Dadis the way they ate, their taste and their type of food was special. I knew how to make the things they like, because at a young age I had the opportunity to make meals for them. So many sisters who stayed with me learned and some didn’t, some definitely. So when Dadi came, she said, “Oh sister Mohini can make it.” So uplifting in a spiritual way with qualities but also whatever we have as a gift, we should also see that others can also take that as a gift. When I see that nobody is being trained to do your task, that means somebody who can do things, if you can’t do it. It is very important because we can’t continue to do it forever, right? There might be certain times you might not be able to do it but you will be happy that there’s someone else who is able to do it.

When Brahma Baba became avyakt, Dadis were there and after that, we all are instruments. Our homework is the awareness of being an instrument. The main obstacle that comes to the majority in service is that ‘I did this’, ‘only I can do this’. What is the consciousness of I? When the consciousness of I comes, then it is called the ego. Baba says that there can be ego of knowledge, ego of intellect, or the ego of service. Baba says that obstacles come through these forms. Baba says to overcome this type of obstacles. Remember one thing, ‘I am just an instrument’. Only by becoming an instrument can you be incorporeal. So one of the benefits will be incorporeal. Baba had been saying to have a natural consistent stage of soul consciousness. It should be natural after so many years of practice. Baba says that by becoming an instrument you will be incorporeal.  Be egoless and  humble, and also stay in a stage that is free from waste thoughts. The biggest obstacle at this time which is remaining is wasteful thoughts. If a thought is wasted, time is wasted, breath is wasted, a lot goes in waste. Baba says that when you imbibe these qualities then what happens? The atmosphere becomes free from obstacles. That is very important because it helps everyone to grow and feel very good. So our homework is awareness of being an instrument.
