Om Shanti!

We all know how to keep ourselves okay, right? On this spiritual journey, we are constantly improving and getting better and better. Thoughts create vibrations. Attitudes are especially powerful vibrations. Some people are very sensitive and also sensible, that they are able to catch vibrations and they try to take what is positive and don’t  take what they feel is not pleasant or good. Generally, what we think is why that person thinks that way, or why they have that vibration? But it’s alright, instead of thinking about that person, I should not take it. Baba always says, “Don’t give sorrow and don’t take sorrow too.” This one causes sorrow but I don’t take it. Words are something which are expressions of our mind, but can be heard. Like vibrations sometimes you feel, sometimes not, but words are always heard. Be aware of what you are doing through your communication, relationships, and working together as a team, everything has a lot to do with communication. Be humble and sweet, so pay attention to your words. If there’s this realization of the importance of words, so when you have already spoken something, after a few minutes you say I could have said it in a better, pleasant way and a softer way. If that realization is there, then I pay attention and next time when I have to speak, it’s definitely a more gentle, sweet, more civilized, and appropriate way. Sometimes something we say is not timely, the same thing can be far more useful at the appropriate time. You want to organize how to speak, when to speak, and how much to speak. Words can trigger  someone’s anger, someone’s ego, but if I can, my words should be such that it invokes, not triggers. It invokes within us very beautiful feelings, good feelings, feelings about our own value, about our own greatness. How do I make someone feel, how important everyone is, of course through vibrations, but more important are our words.

You have to be very clear so don’t speak too fast, the other person should be able to capture everything you are saying. If you’re a thoughtful person, then every word you speak, you would think before speaking. Otherwise, you just keep saying it, and in a way, you’re expressing what you feel about things, they might not be right. Maybe the other person didn’t mean what you are feeling. So a lot of things within relationships and communication are about how I felt about it. We focus a lot on what others do, how they do. All the time thoughts come, “Why she said it, she shouldn’t have done it, why she keeps doing this.” You don’t accumulate power this way. Whatever others do, I should be more attentive on what I should do? What should I say? So in a way attention is more on self progress, self transformation, not always about others. It is such a human nature, but Baba has taught us to accumulate power, if you want to have self transformation, look at yourself. How do I react? How do I respond? Because if reaction is never appropriate if it continues, then they call it chain of action-reaction. I feel it’s very entertaining and enjoyable to say things which don't break but mend everything.

The way you say and do little things means a lot. Sometimes the other person doesn’t  get the right message. These little words are comforting and respectful and they touch the heart and invoke love within, whatever way we speak it invokes many kinds of sanskars in others also. Brahma Baba’s words were angelic.  What are angelic words? Baba said that he spoke little but sweet words. Speak accurate words, that is why I’m stopping because I want to feel what it means to speak accurate words. Do not speak too much.  If you really speak to the point, it is well received. You might say oh I haven’t seen Brahma Baba, how will I follow? It’s the teachings. Baba said, “Let there be greatness, sweetness and humility in every word.” There are a lot of people who say, "Nobody listens to me, they don’t care what I say.” instead of thinking that way, one should think how should I say that it is well received. You know lecturers, and motivational speakers, all of them play the game of words, right? The same is when we speak knowledge or give someone God’s introduction, what words do I use? So when giving spiritual knowledge or any direction, there has to be a pleasant, humble and a sweet way.    Om Shanti
