Om Shanti everyone!
Everyone is okay, your face shows that you are okay, right? If you are okay, then you are cheerful, you are light, and you are radiant with powerful vibrations. Just being okay can do a lot of service. So, the difference between face and image, or as we say in Hindi, chehra and swaroop, is important. Whatever is the stage, the quality of the self shows onto the face. These days people try to create their face in artificial ways with cosmetics and different hairstyles, thinking their face can become better. But actually, it is all about inner beauty. For Baba, we say, “Satyam Shivam Sundaram”, the last word means beautiful. So, what is beauty? I know that you all did not meet Brahma Baba, but Shiv Baba’s qualities were visible and experienced through Baba’s face: truth, there is only truth (satyam) and then Shivam the benefactor. Shivam means everyone experiences some attainment from Baba. He was beautiful with Godly qualities. Brahma Baba was so beautiful. I must say that he was very simple, but his face was so charming, and that beauty was from Baba. Our swaroop should also show that beauty of God. They say that the eyes should be like lotus, face should be like lotus; there is a beauty in being detached and being above. You see everything, you hear everything, but you stay beyond. Actually swaroop is whatever is your inner state of mind. Baba says to let your image or form be the same as your words.
If someone says something, but does something else. You can’t depend on their words. There are some who give you their word and do it. Some change their mind, they give their word or promise, and the next thing is that they have an excuse, and are not able to do it. It happens that you trust the words of someone. Baba says your image and your word should be the same, so that people can trust you. If you say it, you will do it. Baba says that let your words be very clear, and your word should be filled with love, humility, and sweetness. Love, humility and sweetness should be filled with truth. Through your image you will be able to reveal the Father. You will be able to reveal the Father through your image. Therefore, Baba says to remain fearless, but your words have to be within the code of conduct. Being fearless doesn’t mean you speak and challenge others. Baba says that your word should be according to maryada. Baba says that wonders will be visible when there is balance on the stage. Many places now emphasize balance. Baba says that wonders will be visible when there is balance of both the qualities of humility, and sweetness. They won’t then find your words bitter, but very sweet. There is always this question whether I should tell somebody what is not right. If I say something, what will be the reaction? So what should I do? So today Baba is saying your words have to have balance. There has to be love, humility and also sweetness. I think that answers are there in Baba’s words, but we still look for answers on how to do this or that. We have to find the answer to questions about what I have to do ourselves, instead of every time asking someone how to do it. Baba shows us what to do and how to do it, right? So just pay attention, have the balance. Today our homework is that even if you are busy with karma yoga, internally whenever you have a few minutes, just create a balance in your thoughts and in your word. Om Shanti
