As time is progressing Baba is reminding us, what is our part. Everyone has to understand their own part. Even though we have some common responsibilities, we also have individual responsibilities. There are efforts in the gathering, but everyone has to make personal effort. Each one of us has to remind ourselves that we are an instrument. What should be my stage? How should I serve yagya? How should I maintain my stage so that others can also learn from it? For that, the point Baba is giving today is: always pick up virtues. Is there anyone who will go and pick up thorns? No. What will you pick up? Flowers, right? The value of life, there is a song that says that your value can be like a stone, or it can be like jewels, pearls, and diamonds. Each one of us should not look at anyone else. Each one should think that  if I want to increase my value, my worthiness, it depends on my qualities, and on my virtues. So always look at the virtues of others. It is like picking up flowers, and that creates a bouquet. I always think that this person has such a specialty, and I have to look at that quality and imbibe it. So, Baba is saying: pick up values and virtues in every situation. Not only from people, but also from situations. What did I learn? Where could I have been better? So, it becomes continuous learning. Baba says to pick up virtues in every situation. It can become very interesting and entertaining if we really practice this. This is the situation, now what virtue or lesson can I learn from it? As I said, it can be very interesting if we practice it, not just keep it in the intellect, but actually apply it. Baba says that sweetness is the greatness of Brahmin life. In Brahmin life, where there is sweetness, there is also purity. There cannot be sweetness without purity. Baba says, “Constantly remain sweet, whatever happens, this is the basis of success in service you do.” Sweetness is also connected to patience. We often lose patience, if you sow a seed or plant a sapling, you have to wait, right? Some become impatient and start digging, “What’s happening? Why isn’t it growing?” Will it grow like that? No. You leave it and watch, then it will sprout. So, Baba says, “Constantly remaining sweet is the basis of success in service.” Patience is a big quality, because it is based on trust. Where there is trust, there is patience. From purity, all virtues emerge in us. Brahmins have a lot of this intoxication. Baba says that when there is intoxication in the intellect, there should be humility in actions accordingly. Otherwise, that intoxication can turn into ego, even if it is subtle. So, Baba says, “Purity in your actions and sweetness in your words.”  By maintaining such awareness, Baba says that there will never be loss. Otherwise, if there is ego, you will lose. Those who are to attain success always remain humble and constructive. Baba says that they pick up virtues in every situation and fill themselves with sweetness. It seems that in all situations, the most important thing is sweetness. We often say we have a lot of work to do. Sometimes we say we have done a lot. How many of you feel there is still more to do?  Some didn’t raise their hand.
