Om Shanti! We are God’s family, God’s children and we are brothers and sisters. The royalty of our family is purity. The soul is becoming pure. We also live by principles. So the body is also pure because we eat satvik food, but all elements are not pure. They are still in Kaliyug and tamopradhan. Every good clan or family will have certain principles or certain maryadas. Baba also is helping us to maintain total purity and have certain maryadas. A brother and sister should not go for a walk. Many used to do it when they came to Madhuban from foreign countries. When Dadi Prakashmani saw it, she said that you shouldn’t do that. You should have at least 2 sisters together. They couldn’t understand for a while. Dadi said that if any lokik person looks at you; the first thing they will think either they are husband-wife or boyfriend and girlfriend. You don’t have that thought. You live pure lives, but the drishti of others. First they will think that way and that is not good for the soul. I came to Baba as a teenager; anywhere I have to go, whether representing the organization or for anything, I never go with one brother. I will always take one sister and then brother also. That is our royalty, that is how we represent our organization. So whether it’s in the car, whether it’s for a program, whether it’s going for a walk or doing anything also. That is why it is so interesting that all Dadis have one sister who will travel, who will do everything, and brothers have one brother for their assistance, for their company, and for traveling with them. When Dadi Prakashmani became the main Chief of Organizaton, then I used to travel with her most of the time. Two of us would go. At that time we used to be very economical. So Dadi used to say if one brother goes then we need another sister, so we have to buy three tickets. 

 In a way, I knew a lot about India, and a lot about certain things. So the two of us used to travel. Dadi Janki would travel with Hansa bhen or Jayanti bhen. So we have to maintain our maryadas, because if I say it’s okay, we are mature, but what about young people, the next generation? They will see it and they will do it. It might not be very good for the image of the organization, or for their spiritual upliftment. Maryadas have to be followed, especially if you are a senior, because you have many generations who are watching you. If I sit and talk for a few minutes because somebody wants to talk to me, that is okay, I don’t sit for half an hour having a conversation. Doesn’t mean there is no purity. There is, but there is maryada. That is why we are always careful. Many young ones, they might innocently start doing things. Then we will say, “Why are they talking? Why are they doing this?” They saw us doing it and then we created that relationship, when the younger ones do it, we don’t like it. So it’s very important, very subtle, that we maintain our maryadas, our principles, our disciplines. We might take more in detail later, but what Dadi Prakashmani said is important is our royalty, maryadas, but also our dignity. I know that many say, what’s wrong? But it’s not right either. Whether you are doing something personally, or going shopping, even for service to represent an organization. 

In India, it will never happen that one brother, one sister will go walking and have long conversations.  Maybe there would be one brother, two sisters, but never two brothers and one sister.  Once I do it others will say, I can do it too. I have always in my life remembered that my actions will be followed. My words will be repeated. So we have to be very careful of what we speak, and what we do. When we go to Madhuban, they have tables for sisters in the dining room and they have separate tables for brothers. So maryadas are also royalty and that’s part of our purity. Baba is saying that the personality of Brahmin life is purity. Baba says that souls become so pure in your Brahmin life that you even make the bodies and nature pure. We should remember the world is impure, they don’t see our purity, because they see from their own vision. Baba says that in our representation, purity should be seen. Baba says that you will accordingly have that personality. Personality of Brahmin life, so Baba says that if there is some purity lacking in you, then it shows in your personality. No one should connect my name with one person. Then it becomes a big disgrace, so we have to be very careful. Baba says that this personality of impurity makes you not have success in the service you do. The personality of purity will help you. Then everyone’s thoughts and blessings are with you and everyone looks at you. Whatever past is past, but just be royal, completely following maryadas; it’s a very unique example. So in our Brahmin life, in our personality, we follow all the maryadas of yagya, maryadas of the Brahmin family. It is a very royal clan and whatever we do, we set the principles. We are the ones who set the principles. So if we follow it, then others will also be inspired to follow.
