Finish The Seed of Impurity and Become Completely Clean (Pure) #19

Om Shanti! It is so lovely to see Dadi chanting Om. Just imagine 1937: then Baba started chanting Om; all these young sisters, they also started chanting Om. A lot of people these days chant Om because it is also a breathing exercise. When they do pranayam, regulating breath. So they also chant Om because when you say Om, your breathing goes to the head, so circulation in the brain. When you say shanti, it comes down & goes very deep. So Om shanti, peaceful. So it is really for breathing & you know that breathing must reach each part of the body. So Om Shanti is considered to be not only health-wise but sacred also. People start their task; when they do their prayers,  they will chant Om Shanti. So Om Shanti what Baba chanted was spiritual & this is just kind of creating awareness; Om is I am, shanti is peace. I am peace. So when you say Om Shanti, I know, as I said, that it is also a physical exercise; doing Om Shanti, it is good for health. Many chant Om Shanti 10 times, 20 times; some even do 10 minutes every morning, very healthy, very good because if your blood circulation, oxygen is reaching parts of the body, then you definitely will be more healthy & also happy. So it has significance & Baba started because it’s like taking you beyond. And that’s what was happening at that time & those who were singing, chanting with Baba, they went higher & they started having visions. And if you really do properly, you could feel what change is happening. Your breath is very smooth & regulated.  Especially when there are some circumstances which could create pressure, tension in the mind & pressure in the body, you just become calm, put your mind focused in the center of the forehead & just say Om shanti. If you see anyone’s sanskar activating, not in the right way, you don’t say loud but send the vibrations: Om Shanti. That means calm down, don’t have tension, no pressure. So Om Shanti: when we meet each other, we greet each other by saying Om Shanti & when we have to say goodbye, then also we say Om Shanti. So whether it is a time of difficulty, whether it is for physical relaxation or to say hello or to say goodbye, you can use this mantra with anyone. I remember once in Queens there was a talk & somebody brought an 8-year-old son. How can he sit in a lecture? So he was very restless. But he was sitting in front on my right side, so I thought that you can’t stop him. You can’t tell him to go out too. I started saying, not looking at him, Om Shanti, Om Shanti.. Honestly, that boy- it’s the vibration or what he became calm. After that he really didn’t move. So if you use Om Shanti more & more in our lives, it is almost equal to Shiv Baba; that is why I say, anyone who comes, at least teach them two words: Om Shanti! So that they start practicing & they calm down. They become peaceful. They feel the vibrations. They say that even the atmosphere changes when you say Om Shanti. So Om Shanti & then, of course, Shiv Baba. But it is so interesting to hear Dadi chanting Om Shanti with us. You all should do that. Every morning at traffic control, when we read Avyakt Murli with Avyakti Parivar 10 times, they chant Om, Om Shanti at 7 o’clock in the morning. It’s very inspiring & very healthy. Now again, this could be one of the methods to emerge purity. Because when you are peaceful, then positive thoughts emerge. When you are angry, you are disturbed or sad; all kinds of thoughts come, & we shouldn’t act on any of those thoughts. Whether deciding about something, never in anger. Some people make promises: I will never do this, & it’s in anger. But it’s not practical. Because you just said it in reaction. That is why they say that once Shri Krishna told Arjun that one of the weaknesses of the Pandavas is that they promise very quickly. Until I do this, I am not going to do… so anything we do it not in the original, eternal, pure & peaceful sanskars; there is a reaction. Somewhere those thoughts are not good, not for the self, not for yagya. In yagya, we have to put sesame seed; they don’t put oil, they put ghee & very pure. So it’s very simple. But as dadi was chanting, I say, we should really all practice, not necessarily chanting, but even in our thoughts, om shanti that I am a peaceful soul. There is a Hindi song also where the soul is singing, I am a pure soul, I am a peaceful soul. I am a loveful soul. So we can use that song. It’s a good practice: emerging our original & eternal sanskars, eternal & original. Original is deity sanskars. Eternal is the soul in the Incorporeal World. When the soul is not in the body, the soul has that purity, pure energy, & in silence, peaceful. So as much as we also get detached from the body & just observe the scenes of drama by remembering everything is beneficial. So ya, we can think or churn a lot on that, but I just kind of felt that this Om Shanti is a big maha mantra. Original & eternal sanskars of you brahmins is purity. So Baba says when you use this natural sanskar, impurity should not even emerge in your dream or even in your thought. Some people say Baba wants us to do intense effort. Intense is to do the whole day; it should be consistent; not that we do in the morning & the whole day we get busy with our actions, our karma yoga. We should do it very often. So Baba says that now go beyond having such thoughts & become victorious, & Baba says by making purity as your natural sanskars. That was Dadi Prakashmani’s image. Because the soul for everyone was so pure. Then Baba says, no need to make efforts in the subject of purity. So I think if we practice again & again purity, peace is connected with purity. Purity is connected with peace. Even if one thought of any circumstances or any situation remains in the soul, it keeps disturbing the soul. The purity, then purity is also silence. The more pure you are, the less you think. So it’s a very beautiful avyakti signal emerging in our original & eternal sanskar. I think when we listen to that, we all know that. It’s a kind of, it emerges in the thought: let’s make an effort. It’s a very simple effort; why not? So it kind of inspires us. Which is very good. We always make an effort & have natural purity & peace.  If I am peaceful, the atmosphere is peaceful. Everyone is peaceful & you serve the elements. They also become peaceful.

Om shanti!
