Generally, in Avyakti Parivar we offer Bhog to Baba on Thursday afternoon. I want to welcome all of you and congratulate you for such a beautiful welcome program, mostly because there was such sweet silence. Sometimes Baba says, “Silence, sweet silence.” I remember Baba used the word ‘dead silence’ too. What we were all experiencing was sweet silence, because sweet silence has joy. You feel very light, you feel very much like flying and very joyful. The program was arranged with music and I was really happy with the brothers. It was very nice to see our brothers, our Pandavs dancing. I want to thank you all from my heart because I am not a guest here, right? Even if I spend a longer time in India, I still remember every day that I spent over 50 years here in the USA. We grew together in service and I really appreciated it. Did you all like the brothers dancing?  You know Baba always shares blessings, but I also need to bless myself too. Sometimes we are not able to appreciate our own self. Somewhere, whatever is happening or whatever we are taking is from others, from outside. However, you have a lot of treasures within you, and sometimes we lose that by looking outside at how much each one has. It is very subtle never to get influenced by anything from outside. If something happens, then why should I lose anything? So, that’s why Baba said to keep yourself full. I think it is  very important to keep your mind in intoxication. 

Dadi Gulzar, when she came to New York for the first time, offered Bhog in Queens. She brought the message that each one of you was sitting in a Viman- that small golden-aged airplane. Then Baba said, “Start.”  So, everyone pressed the button to start, but some Vimans could not fly. So, Baba said the reason was that everyone has faith, but not everyone has the intoxication of faith —nishchay ka nasha. So, just to have this awareness: I am God’s child. I belong to the highest clan. Even in the lokik world, Brahmins are considered the highest clan, and we are also real Brahmins. Look at our task, what seva Baba has given us. While doing seva, we should only look for accomplishment of the aim. I don’t want anything else, no desires. So, I feel that this intoxication is very important. This intoxication is about belonging to Baba, being adopted by Baba, and receiving blessings from Baba. When there is intoxication, you don’t see anything else. Time is short. You all know the condition of the world, they are on the verge of using all their toys, right? How long will they keep, they are so excited to experiment with each one? It’s like a game for them. Today I was talking to Madhuban and also to Brother Pratap in the hospital, and they were saying there is so much difficulty with diesel and water. When there isn’t enough diesel, the pumps don’t work. When the pumps don’t work, you cannot fill the tanks. So, they are trying to change it to electrical now. They said they might have to start canceling programs or reducing the numbers. So, I said, “What about Gyan Sarovar and Pandav Bhavan?” They are managing because there are fewer numbers, but in Shantivan it is very difficult. You can see the effects which are coming, all the cars will stop, and we will be going on foot or by bicycle or whatever it is. I said, “It’s all right.” When I was there in Shantivan, our cylinders in the kitchen finished. They said, “You won’t get cylinders then.” Somebody said, “Okay, we gave you some,” but everything being cooked by solar was easier. Cylinders were becoming very difficult to get. So, we all have to see. 

I think Peace Village has enough wood, right? They use it for winter to warm up the place. Because now, I think the biggest expense everywhere is electricity, because you have heating, air conditioning, everything runs on electricity. At Peace Village it is commercial rate, but even in Long Island everything has become double. So, we have to be simple and use only as much as necessary. Of course, we have to be detached observers, but what about our personal journey and the service we have to do? What methods should we use? On one side we are celebrating 90 years, but look at Brahma Baba. He had many buildings and all that was used for yagya service. Someone said that one minister came to Madhuban and said, “This organization has gone through so much adverse publicity and all that, but still it has grown and keeps growing because its foundation is purity.” It is the power of purity. Whatever Baba offered at that time, He offered through surrender was continuously used in service. Every day there is a little Gita pathshala beginning somewhere, and every few days there is a big bhavan inauguration. You all get the news from Madhuban Rosary. So, it is something we should really admire, and then have the intoxication of belonging to such a family, such a clan, and being part of this unlimited yagya. So again, to repeat: stay victorious, never feel down or defeated. Remain high and uplift other souls all the time. Baba says that by considering any type of obstacle, problem, or attack of Maya, do not ever be affected. Always have the feeling to look at everything as a game. However, if you consider it to be an attack, then you will become afraid. Then you begin thinking, “Why? What? How will it happen?” It is Maya’s duty to come, and it is your duty to be victorious. So, the thought for 24 hours from Avyakti signal is: always think, “I am victorious.” This awareness  should be your chant in a way, “I am victorious.”
